Monster High Presents Nicktoons: Monster Madness - or Nicktoons: Monster Madness for short - is a fan-fiction crossover game from the Nicktoons Re-Unite series, featuring the characters from the 3rd generation of Monster High.
Premise / Synopsis[]
Clawdeen Wolf, Draculaura and Frankie Stein find themselves in a bigger universe than they thought when they clashed with the daughter of a new threat to all worlds. Lovecraftian Gods are real and the Great One known as Cthulhu has been summoned back, with his family spreading their chaos and their minions all over. Luckily the ghouls met five heroes from those other worlds: SpongeBob, Danny, Timmy, Jimmy and Jenny, who expected their help since it came from their home. The questions are "what do they know about the Cthulhu family and how will they stop him?"

Quirks[]
Everyone has something that makes them special. The heroes' Quirks help them solve puzzles to save others, get through paths, and find collectables. Like Draculaura's "Hanging Out" abilities to walk on walls and ceilings, or Jimmy's "Brain Blast" to relive clues and make a solution. Every hero has four Quirks, and some of them can be used by hitting the interact button (), or just by entering a spot to use it.

The Rescue Search is a first part of every level, where you explore an area and save the Nicktoons' friends residing in each world from the forces of Cthulhu. It involves solving puzzles with the heroes' quirks and what's around in the setting.

The Horror Road is the third part of every level, where you have to follow a path filled with enemies to fight and obstacles to resolve. It usually takes place in an unsettling atmosphere showing the danger of the area and the threat of the boss ahead.

Plot[]
Tutorial: Bloodlines[]

It was a usual day at Monster High for the big three: Clawdeen, Frankie and Draculaura, and Monster Midterms started again. But before they get started, they glimpsed at a small statue that Dracula and the Headmistress locked away in the vault. That statue looked like an octopus with dragon wings. Clawdeen felt like she read about something like that before, but they were too creeped out by the vibe of its magic to be curious, so they decided to leave it be. They head outside and started by showing off their powers and talents.
She said that her name is Cthylla, and that she's looking for something for her mother to bring back their father
The Ghouls Meet the Nicktoons[]

Clawdeen and Frankie wake up to see that Monster High is in chaos from the outside. Then they clashed with two figures with strange powers, one had extended metal limbs that turned into weapons, and the other looked human but excels ghost energy. They are Danny Phantom and Jenny Wakeman, good beings just like the girls. They come from their homes to find a villain who threatens the multiverse with their immense power. They were talking about the girl they encountered earlier. Clawdeen and Frankie want to save their school and get the heroes permission to help them to it.
The inside of the school was in chaos, Cthylla has summoned evil shadows who attacked the staff and the students. The alliance must save their friends of the confusion, including the unlockable heroes, Toralei Stripe, Cleo De Line, Lagoona Blue and Deuce Gorgon. While fixing the school, they were introduced to two more heroes from other dimensions SpongeBob SquarePants and Timmy Turner. To make this harder, the Expel Beast was possessed and cornered the Headmistress. But they've defeated it with backstage help from their friend Draculaura and the leader of the Nicktoons, Jimmy Neutron, Boy Genius.
They journey through the Catacombs where Cthylla is destroying the roots of Monster High on her search for a statue that the Boo Crew have seen earlier: the statue. When they caught up with her, she reminded them about what she said before: that she needs it to bring her father back. But he's a greater monster than they presumed when she shapeshifts into her true form, with tentacles for hairlocks, sharp claws and dragon wings just like the statue. After that the fight, Cthylla fled saying that it's everything she needs.
When the smoke cleared, Bloodgood declared that everyone is in danger. In the library, she showed her Cthylla's father is the Lovecraftian monster the others feared: Cthulhu. A monstress named Idh-yaa said that she'll become his herald in promised to lead the others alone, but this resulted his daughter, the same monster that attacked the school. Her powers are called Madness Magic, allowing to control minds, alter the reality around her and travel to other worlds. And those shadow minions are called Star Spawns. If she's just as powerful, then when she frees her father, it will be catastrophic.
The Headmistress said that they have to gather enough corrupted people to from a cult that will summon him. Which means that they're going to the home dimensions of the Nicktoons and make a deal with their villains to help them. And in return, get revenge on their worlds for forsaking them through chaos and madness. Feeling responsible for Cthylla, Clawdeen offers that she, Frankie and Draculaura help keep the Nicktoons worlds for falling apart. Jimmy says that bigger statues of Cthulhu have been showing up in the other dimensions, the first thing to go and do study them.
House of Wakeman[]

The team arrives in Tremerton, Jenny's home, to see how much damage their enemies on doing. Not only are the Star Spawn in invading, but a race of alien robot called the Cluster as well. While saving her friends, Brad, Tuck and Sheldon at the school, that told her that her mom, Dr. Wakeman is with her archenemy, Vexus. When they got to her house, they've noticed that she's possessed by the Madness Magic and Vexus has been using her to gain information. They gave chase to the statue, through the wreckage of the streets. Vexus reveals that Wakeman gave her data for her most destructive creation, Armageddroid. Now built to target the heroes and powered by Madness Magic, they had to put up a grand fight.
With her witchcraft, Draculaura is able to help defeat the titanium titan, but Vexus ran away. Cthylla watched the whole thing to see that they're a threat to her family's plans. Draculaura notice the magic around the statue and tries to interact with it. Then she got a vision, a memory through Cthylla's eyes. She sees her mother - a monstress named Idh-yaa - telling her to help her get the statue back from their foes and they'll get what they deserve. They can't destroy the statues, but they can drain them and gain more information about the Cthulhu family.
The Ghost Zone[]

Now, they head for Danny's dimension, to liberate another hero's home, Amity Park. Draculaura says that she can use her witchcraft to power her friends. For example, she gives Jenny a chip powered by magic, so that she can hunt the Star Spawn and fix the damage they've caused. They saved Danny's parents, sister, best friend and girlfriend from the ghosts abducted the humans. The bounty-hunting ghost, Skulker arrives to stop them. Defeating him, they've learned that the ghosts taking the humans to the Ghost Zone work for the rock star ghost, Ember McLain.
When they get to the concert filled with hundreds of people, they overhear Ember talking to Cthylla, about her having to getting boss around by her mother. They stop when they've spotted the heroes and confront them with a chaotic musical showdown. With Ember burned out, Cthylla fusses, saying that her mom will be mad for failing again. After getting the people back to Amity Park, Drac gains another memory about Idh-yaa teaching Cthylla about the powers she was given from her father Cthulhu and the witchcraft from her. Drac recalls that witchcraft was forbidden for monsters back then...
